About Scramblix
Scramblix is a free set of word tools and games for anyone who enjoys words – from Scrabble regulars and Wordle fans to teachers, quiz hosts and puzzle lovers.
What you can do here
- Unscramble letters – type up to 15 letters (with blanks) and see every word you can make, with Scrabble and Words With Friends scores, filters and definitions.
- Scramble words – jumble a word, name or sentence, or turn a word list into a printable worksheet with an answer key.
- Play the Daily Scramble – five new scrambled words every day, the same for everyone, with streaks and a shareable result.
- Take a quiz – scrambled words of 3 to 12 letters, famous people, famous places and famous movies, with an optional timer.
- Browse word lists – lists such as 5-letter words by starting letter, and pages for popular unscrambles.
How it works
Every tool runs in your web browser, so results are instant and nothing you type is stored on our servers. The unscrambler checks your letters against a broad English word list of more than 270,000 words; the word lists and quizzes use a list of more common everyday words so they're useful for puzzles and learning.
Word lists vary between games. A word shown here may not be valid in every game's official dictionary, so always check your game's own rules.
